Antics Alert

July 13, 2016
BACK
Humpday vibes, the end of Love Island (admit guilty pleasure or not you are all gutted) and the world loosing there s**t over Pokemon Go, the weekend couldn't come quick enough; however with it being mid-week there has been plenty of modelling news and not to mention celebrity gossip. Conspiracy theories over Hiddleswift to actress Jennifer Aniston penning an important article for Huffington Post, arguing the challenges women face when it comes to love, 'happily ever afters' and the pressures of motherhood. Today at the IMM desk we are talking #SS17 antics, the fashion trend we can't get enough of and the face of the latest Nike x Liberty collaboration.

1.) #SS17 - At Fashion Week there were moments of pure weirdness; From Sunnei dropping Sisqo’s “Thong Song” at their show in Milan, scandalous gossip surrounding an unnamed designer, who in a fit of rage, had killed one of their employees’ dogs by slamming it against a wall and not to mention J.W Anderson's collection; Aprons, steampunk goggles and spray-painted tunics. Chatting to our models we discuss our main collection highlight; the winner for our fave show hailed from Sweden, 'CMMN SWDN's collection had something for everyone in the brands SS17 presentation'.  Praised by leading online publisher High Snobiety. This brand was certainly in the league compared to other contemporary brands currently on the market, keeping it interesting yet realistically wearable. What to expect from the collection? Models dressed in pleated pants, stripped shirts, zippered polos and no to mention dusty pink jeans, all about #blushgram.

2.) Neela for Liberty London - Talk about curve alert. We are super proud of Neela for being part of NikexLiberty campaign. The sportswear powerhouse are back with another limited edition, following there knitwear Air Force one collection, spring is in the air with there latest drop. Think pastels, Japanese flowers and nude Retro Cortez's. Neela aka the editor of Cozy Mag is definatly our girl crush. Lover of effervescent colour pallets? Tropical getaways? BTS footage of trainer drops from Adidas to Reebox? Then this models Instagram is all you need to follow and don't forget to check out this curve models portfolio, fro exclusive shoots with Viix Studios and London photographer Johnny Fonseca.

3.) Brand we are loving - Talking to our IMM models we all agree the under the radar designer to check out is Sisyphe. Spain's answer to Palace, this Madrid based brand are hell-bent on changing the street wear scene. The young label serves up a menu of street style bangers, including bright yellow hoodies with clean, catchy graphics, jeans with jagged, raw hems, patchwork denim vests and lush floral trucker jackets and to mention there shout out to cult classic film Lost Boys! See why our models are crushin on it here.
