Who says you can't have a #throwback on a Tuesday? In celebration of our blog post 'Calvin meets Plus Size' coming soon, we are drooling over curve model Rachel B from her first shoot with Manchester photographer Matthew Comer for Issue one of Off The Rails magazine. An American Apparel esque editorial; with 80s sheer lingerie, american goodies, tousled blonde locks and snaps that could earn a place on your sons wall. Celebrating the inbetweener models; those that are constantly questioned in the modelling industry for falling between the cracks, check out a snippet of what Rachel had to say surrounding the term 'plus size'; “How are YOU plus size!?”, “Do you like being called plus size?”, “Are you offended by that?” ….No, I don’t like it but I’m not offended by it. Why should I be? I’m offended by you asking that, because you’re suggesting I should be! I don’t like it yet I find comfort in it, being called ‘Plus size’ is like a safety blanket; I never have to listen to somebody tell me to loose weight again. Whats more, that label is what has given me work - I guess I could say I’m thankful for it. Some women feel empowered by it. But I’m talking about the girls IN the industry; it’s the girls outside of the industry who I worry about the ‘Plus size’ label affecting…
