Wanna Hang Out?

BACK
In our previous post about how to be scouted, we are now taking a different approach to getting into the model clan - the top 6 best hang outs to meet the leading models if they aren't busy on the runway during Moscow Fashion Week (currently happening) or shooting with leading London photographers then you will find them in these hot spots, chatting to our models we have divulged a few of their favourite watering holes around the capital...

Kicking off the Countdown it has to be Chiltern Firehouse, from supermodels such as Lily Donaldson and Kate Moss to musicians such as Miles Kane and Alex Turner - We all know that one day soon the blazing star of the Chiltern Firehouse will have fizzled out as quickly as it burst onto the London celebrity circuit, only to be spoken of in whispers of legends passed. And we also all know that when this day comes, we still won't have made the guest list. However it is still a big hit with up and coming models on nights out, at constant organised events, if you want to splash the cash and rock your favourite pair of Stuart Weitzmans then the Chiltern Firehouse is still for you -We give it a 3.5.

The Box, Many things have been said about this mysterious, unphotographed crimson drinking dystopia, and while most of them are physically impossible and the rest unrepeatable, it is clear that the fetish tastes of the Box's clientèle are directly in line with 'retired model' Cara's own wild side. Still popular as a clubbing night where the dance floor in the past has had a number of Victoria Secret Angels grace the dance floor, or full throttled twerked - one will never know but we can only imagine if you are an aspiring model is the place to be. We round this place off with a 4!

Number 3 on our list - Here at IMM we love secret hotspots; although many of our models have been spotted at major places such as Electric house - (If only walls could talk, the Electric House's would have more than enough to say about celebrities and models enjoying one and others raucous company), Shoreditch House, Toy Room and Raffles in Chelsea. However one of our models fave secret corners of London has to be the London Cocktail Club in Islington - Don’t you dare be fooled by that ‘Apothecary Off Licence’ shop front at 108 Essex Road. Be bold and investigate; for one of North London’s coolest speak easy bars lies waiting to be discovered. Packed with the trademark LCC quirks and oddities, this cocktail pharmacy space is perfect for masterclasses, raucous private parties and swigging your way through some of the most creative drinks in town - it is one to be ticked off your London check list. We rate this place a 5/5 (how can you not love 2 cocktails for £12 pounds and Johanna Halpins company)

4&5 TOP TIP FOR SUMMER - another secret getaway x a festival where every leading European agency will be scouting at this year. First off head to Gigalum - An atmospheric oasis in the heart of Clapham South, Gigalum is an all-in-one gem well worth seeking out (busy, heaving with students, it is a scouts galore). Head over early and settle in their beer garden, there’s a rich spread of drinks and heaters for when the sun goes down - finish with a foray on to the dance floor, where a string of hugely talented DJs play uplifting house until late. Entry is always free, what more could you want for a summer day out if you are new to London then this is a good stop on a sunny afternoon, hint* scouts are always in the busiest of places seeking fresh talent and models always want a good time! The next big festival to attend alongside your weekend in Glastonbury, Coachella and Benicàssim - this little hidden gem is located in Amsterdam and without fail models from all over Europe including leading models represented by Modelwerk, Elite and Iconic Management are always celebrating at Dekmantel festival - 'meticulously shaping up'. It is a festival all about celebrating and supporting the best contemporary, experimental and timeless underground electronic music out there - it is is going to be wild and you don't want o miss this if you are a model on a hunt for a new representation in Europe this festival is one not to to be missed.

6.) Finally, away from the hustle and bustle of the streets populated by weekend tourists, there is a quirky vintage bar, located near Clapham Junction station, is a decadent den of intimate antique furniture, bare stone walls and old trinkets. Get your luscious libations with some unusual twists; adding anything from mustard to Marmite into your cocktails, trust mixologists that like an adventure. Your taste buds will never look back - Here at IMM we can't get enough of Three Six Six Battersea and neither can our models.

Stay posted as we let you into more of our top tens of models hangouts from festivals to holiday destinations.
