At IMM we are always interested in the latest male fashion trends from the new North Face x Supreme Drop to leading London designers like 1205, Craig Green and Christopher Kane(Newbie on instagram-christopherkane) all debuting collections in the hottest east end stores to high end retailers in London Town. Just in this week our leading boys have shot for designer YMC, to Alma de Ace and Norse Projects however if you are new to London and wanting some IMM help then check out our male models top picks for your fashion journey in LDN.

.) Kicking of the countdown with Dover Street Market – Located in Mayfair, just around the corner from the Ritz and Berkley Square, is Dover Street Market. A mini department store focusing on high-end fashion and featuring some of the best menswear designs from around the globe; a Comme des Garcon fan club times limited edition Saint Laurent pieces, it is a store ‘not to be missed’ . The stripped-back concept store spans across six levels and is certainly more on the high-fashion scale than high-street. Best For… designer pieces you will want to brag about, not in London? Dover Street can also be found in New York, Ginza and Beijing.
.) Liberty – A renowned gem in the fashion industry aswell as London, a place filled with quirky treasures = the only place you can come out of with a Moroccan tapestry rug to an Our Legacy limited edition sweatshirt. Founded on the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement,Liberty continues to represent the best of quirky British ingenuity and this can be spotted in the menswear department, offering the best of British designers from Barbour, Belstaff and Paul Smith to leading French street wear designers such as APC. Barber shop Murdock’s offer haircuts, wet shaves and other in-store treatments to polish off the modern gentleman.
.)LN-CC – Access by appointment only access and located down a nondescript alley in Dalston, visitors to Late Night Chameleon Café (LN-CC) often describe a sensation of entering another world. With an interior designed by Gary Card, a strong edit of designer pieces by Ann Demeulemeester, Dries Van Noten and Haider Ackermann are set out like a gallery curation in hushed privacy, alongside a treasure trove of rare vinyls and books.
.) Goodhood – Our IMM Models favourite shop in London, oooo. Launched in 2007 with no formal investment, Goodhood attracted a loyal fanbase with its curated take on streetwear including Opening Ceremony, Ganni and limited edition Vans also introducing designer Gosha Rubchinskiy’s collection on board in recent months. The new Curtain Road store is Goodhood’s biggest yet, with a fully-realised lifestyle choice, it promises to bring the Goodhood boys back to their East End roots in a truly immersive experience.

.) Alexander Mcqueen – Looking to splash the cash, then its time to do tailoring right. Designed by David Collins, it features a glossy marble floor, glass box display case and ornate panelling. Classy, dramatic and oh so Alexander Mcqueen. Located centre stage is creative designer Sarah Burton’s next Mcqueen project. This season look out for military tailoring and minimal black bomber jackets.
.)Other Shop – Being on the scene since 2012 as a reincarnation of B store by directors Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie. From the exposed piping painted bright colours to oversize house plants and surreal art displays, the alternative shopping experience is matched with an edit mixing guest designers like Peter Jensen and Matthew Miller with Other’s own designs. The store also shines a light on graduate collections, for fresh new London designers.

.)Burberry Flagship – Why the IMM male models love it, because it is best for Classic British craftsmanship. Burberry can put a great deal of its resurgence down to this flagship store,as the iconic British brand’s commitment to digital can be found in every corner of the shop. Brand innovations include Burberry Acoustic and 3D hologram runway shows, meaning the heritage brand continues to connect its commitment to craft with a pioneering approach to technology and digital media; Burberry is forever down with the kids.
.) YMC – We are in love with You Must Create, especially since new male model Jamie has been spotted in there latest window shop and in there look books. YMC has quietly grown to become a highly significant design label.’you must create your own design style’. It is this philosophy that inspires YMC; there style isn’t based on the latest trends and flamboyant runway creations it focuses on minimalism, wearable and distinctive clothing. Best for the Modenist.
.) Mr Hare – ‘Shoes you can attach romance to’, as quoted by Marc Hare. The Sleek ‘Window Shop’ has recently began launching the label’s very first ready-to-wear offering, and shoes in an exclusive extended range of sizes going down to a size 2, meaning the store is as likely to attract ladies as it is men and our IMM models simply can’t get enough.
.) Not in London then check out Manchester’s designer store Hervia Baazar. Hervia is the luxury fashion destination for edited & curated designer collections, if you love Maison Margiela then Hervia is the place to be, ever fancy a visit to Manchester then put this on your wishlist!
