I’m a blogger, digital content creator, social activist and plus size model. But before all those titles, I was just a kid who had a mild obsession with E! entertainment, celebrity culture and fashion.
At the age of 12, I started my first blog.
t offered me the space to talk about what I loved, Beyoncé, – who I still love – celebrities and what they were wearing. Rather than spew all the things I knew from reading blogs and watching E! news, to friends, I posted it on my blog; which allowed for the birth of my second and current blog.
Three years after starting my first blog, I made Fashion Killer, with the aim to act as a one stop authentic source for emerging fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
What I didn’t know was that posting a “what to wear on Valentine’s day” blog post would lead to me being scouted, three years after posting my first blog post.
Since being scouted I’ve managed to work with so many brands on a blogger/influencer level and as a model.
Something I would have never imagined growing up; especially as I dealt with body dysmorphia and low self-esteem.
Modelling and blogging has allowed me to really be myself, meet amazing people and be creative. I now use my platform to inspire women to love their body, be bold, express themselves and have fun with fashion.
My 13-year-old self is shook!
So, here’s me a big girl from West London living a dream, working hard, loving herself and trying to make it.
I would like to think I inspire others to do the same; you’ve only got one life, you might as well live it to the fullest.
(Ugh, so cliché and cringe, but oh so true!)
