Boyzone

back BACK
June 29, 2016

Men's fashion is defiantly on our radar; from the Balmain army that teared up the runway, CLOT presenting there first collection and ASAP Rocky hitting the front row at Dior Homme. We are discussing our top three trends with male model Jerome; returning back to the modelling scene and working in London, Paris and Milan, Jerome is defiantly one too watch - Get scrolling to see his latest shots and to see what model is turning heads at Hype clothing.

1.) Adidas X White Mountaineering
The Streetwear giant is taking center stage at fashion week, after launching there third collaboration with Japanese brand White Mountaineering. Historically Adidas are known for collabs, teaming up worldwide with names – such as Kanye West for Yeezy (soon to be cementing the next collection Adidas x KANYE WEST) and London skate brand Palace – where culture, technology and innovation are the focus, this season Adidas Originals brought their ongoing partnership with Japanese menswear brand White Mountaineering to Paris’s Pavillon Vendôme. Why IMM are loving the launch; it screams Summer, creative director Yosuke Aizawa explains backstage that he was inspired by the ocean, resorts and islands. Contrasting, the darker urban feel of adidas Originals - Aizawa further stated that 'adidas Originals is not a sports brand, it's more of a fashion brand'. Our male model Jerome completely agreed 'the iconic three stripes felt futuristic, I liked the playfulness of the collab.'

2.) The King is Naked, Shout out Aloud Beauty is in the Eye - Comme des Garçons
The queen of Paris fashion is Rei Kawakubo, and her spring Comme des Garçons collection was inspired by the Anderson fairytale, The Emperors New Clothes, '“Many years ago there was an Emperor so exceedingly fond of new clothes that he spent all his money on being well dressed." – resulting in a parade of fantastic plastic transparent garments, just like the infamous imperial togs - Although these ones do actually exist. Our favorite piece, has to be the pinstripe suit; check out the rest of the collection here
3.) Connor for Hype clothing; May not be a fashion week collection however we are loving Connor's Latest editorial shoot for leading men's brand Hype clothing. Shot by the Off the Rails team that have given the London publishing scene some eye candy, we can't wait for there issue 7,8 and 9 combination launch featuring our fave petite queen Anne. Check him out as he keeps it cool in vibrant bombers, retro shirts and tailored trousers all screaming Paul Smith #SS17 inspiration!
